Job Summary
We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Remote Collection Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our collections team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, resolving accounts, and driving revenue growth. This role requires a strong and diverse skillset, with the ability to work independently in a remote setting. Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service Excellence: Provide exceptional customer service to our client's patients, accurately recording their information, and addressing their concerns in a professional and empathetic manner.
- Account Resolution: Assist with account resolution by communicating account information, offering solutions, and establishing payment arrangements that meet the needs of our clients and patients.
- High-Volume Call Handling: Handle high volumes of inbound and outbound calls, ensuring timely and effective communication with patients, clients, and internal stakeholders.
- Computer Program Proficiency: Work with various computer programs, including our proprietary software, to manage accounts, update records, and meet individual metrics.
- Performance Metrics: Meet and exceed performance metrics, including productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction targets.
Requirements & Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with a preference for candidates holding a bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Customer Service Experience: A minimum of 1-2 years of customer service experience in a call center or collections environment, preferably in the healthcare or finance industry.
- Collections Experience: Experience in collections, accounts receivable, or a related field is highly desirable.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with patients, clients, and internal stakeholders.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in computer programs, including Microsoft Office, and ability to quickly learn our proprietary software.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Healthcare Industry Experience: Experience working in the healthcare industry, including medical billing, patient accounts, or revenue cycle management.
- Collections Certification: Certification in collections, such as the Certified Collections Specialist (CCS) or the Certified Credit and Collections Professional (CCCP).
- Strong Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
