Job Title: Field Project Scheduler / Planner

Pay Rate: $42.00 – $47.50 / hour

Location: Remote to United States Residents (Some required travel)

Job Type: 1 year contract with possible extension or hire

About the Role Randstad is looking for an experienced Field Project Scheduler / Planner to join our global energy technology company.  In this role, you will be the backbone of project execution, serving as the expert responsible for developing, maintaining, and managing detailed, logic-driven project schedules.

Travel Requirement: Occasional travel is required for this role, typically twice a year, with potential additional travel to manufacturing factories and client sites. Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proven experience within the steam, nuclear, or gas power industry.
  • Minimum of 8+ years of scheduling experience within a high-volume, high-touchpoint project environment.
  • Solid experience maintaining, updating, and reporting schedule statuses to both internal stakeholders and external clients.
  • Must be a US Citizen (no dual citizenship) to successfully gain access to nuclear client sites.
  • Extensive understanding of construction drawings, estimates, and contracts.
Preferred Qualifications
  •  5+ years of hands-on experience using Primavera P6, specifically comfortable managing schedules with 1500+ tasks on the logic side, WBS, resource management, cost estimation, and risk analysis.
  • Prior experience working on-site in a construction environment outside of pure scheduling (e.g., as a Project Manager, Superintendent, or in Cost Controls).
  • Active or recent badge access to a nuclear site within the last 5 years is a massive plus.
  • Experience supporting subcontractors' scope management (schedules, billings, change orders, RFIs, etc.).

Responsibilities

Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary project information and integrate it into the schedule.
Analyze project timelines, identify potential delays, and propose solutions to mitigate risks. Monitor project progress and update schedules regularly to reflect changes in scope, resources, and timelines.
Prepare and present schedule reports, including progress updates, critical path analysis, and variance reports. Ensure that project schedules align with overall project goals and objectives.
Collaborate with procurement and resource management teams to ensure the availability of necessary materials and personnel.
